We created an immersive indoor experience at Tobacco Docks in London for the future-thinking charity Nesta. For their 2018 festival, THE GARDEN explored a tactile and engaging journey through a dystopian urban landscape — one that highlighted the modern need to control the environment rather than work with it.

A visitor reads under red light beneath the brick vault
Silhouette walking through blue haze past graffitied walls

The garden led visitors through an exploration of urban ecology — and how a lighter touch might lead us to a deeper, more earthy future than tomorrow's current visions of glass and steel.

"A lighter touch may lead us to a deeper, more earthy future than tomorrow's current visions of glass and steel."

Trees framed in a lit archway, haze catching red and blue light
A circular void in a deep blue surface
An oil drum of still water reflecting blue light on gravel

The immersive experience became a platform for pioneering speakers who threaded their own narratives into the space, leaving a wide audience with much to think on.
