Gladesmore Gardening Crew

The Gladesmore Gardening Crew visits the garden on Friday lunchtimes. Led by teacher Emma Beale, the group has helped the allotment area become a hands-on classroom for growing food, foraging leaves and berries, and watching the pond for newts. It is a place where gardening and learning are hard to separate — and where the ambition of a single student, that one day this could be as big as Kew, has become a running motto for everyone involved.
